Your values are the things that you believe are important in
the way you live and work.

2. Answer YES or NO to the following Question
Would you lie to a friend?

3. Get in pairs and to discuss the following questions
• Your friend tells you a secret that makes you concerned for them
and pleads with you not to tell anyone. Is it ok to tell someone?
• Is it wrong to lie?
• Should Australia accept refugees?
Identify the value that sits under the choices on the above questions.

4. My top 5 values
Honesty
Freedom
Family Health
Friends
Hard work ethic

5. Identify your own top five values and write them down. In pairs students explain
to each other why they have chosen each value.
