  4. 4. Stages of Dementia  Pre-Dementia: symptoms may be present, but function is not impaired  Mild Dementia: impairment with ADL’s  Moderate Dementia: requires cueing to perform ADL’s  Severe Dementia: can no longer perform basic ADL’s even with cueing
