6. 4. Understand the GMAT Test for Better Scores
The first thing a test taker needs to do is understand
the test, the challenges that lie ahead of him/her and
then figure out a plan according to his/her strengths.
The best way to do this is to take a GMATPrep test
and if you think you are not ready to sit for extended
periods of time with high concentration levels, you
can take the paper diagnostic test in the OGs.

7. 5. GMAT is a Marathon that Tests Your Stamina
One of the things GMAT tests you
on is stamina, don't under-estimate
this fact. If you are preparing yourself

8. 6. GMAT is a Marathon that Tests Your Stamina
If you are 90% sure about an answer choice,
go ahead and make that choice. If you are 100%

Preparing for the GMAT has been a long & arduous
journey. However, that moment when you anxiously
stare at the screen, which unassumingly displays your
score, and see a 750+, is worth all the sweat, stress
and sacrifices.
If you find that you are unable to keep up with your
plan, relax! Take a day or two off. Set realistic targets
now and plan again

13. 11. Don’t Let Frustration Get the Better of You
There will be days when you are too tired or
frustrated at the lack of progress - you’re will not the
only one.
GMAT is a difficult test, it will try and beat you down,
but you have to get back on your feet. There are folks
who score 760-770 with a one-month study. I knew I
was not one of them. I knew I had to grind it out and
do it the hard way. Every day, slowly but steadily I
would chip away.

20. 18. Be Practical
Don't be over ambitious, I knew I wanted
something around 700 to 720 because that's what
most of the top B-schools I was aiming at look for.
Instead of covering a lot, cover only the portions
where we can score more.
This advice is not to make anybody feel doubtful on
their capability but we do have jobs which demand a
lot of our time.
Most importantly , do give yourself a second
chance.

Take a minute or two to relax and get all those
‘what if I had done that’ & ‘could I have taken more
time’ thoughts out of your mind, before hitting
confirm and getting into the break to have a bite of
that yummy candy.
