Antoni was born on June 25, 1852 in Reus, Catalonia,
Spain and died on June 10, 1926 in Barcelona,
Catalonia, Spain
His architecture well represented his love for nature,
religion, and Catalonia.
He used a series of skills in his creations, including,
ceramics, stained glass, wrought ironwork forging, and
carpentry.
Antoni also created a new technique in the treatment
of materials called trencadis (mosaic of broken pieces
of tile).
