3. Concept
The 1st International photograph Gallery Road Show, TV Show and Social Responsibility Program
An international photograph Gallery Road Show
Kiss and the City will hold Special Event Galleries, VIP parties and Outdoor Exhibitions accross 10 cities:
London, Paris, Barcelona, Brussels, Berlin, Prague, Moscow, Antalya, Milan, Istanbul
A TV show
World famous photographers will shoot with local amateur photographers:
19 unique episodes that will be a mix of reality show, lifestyle, cities, photography, art, and passion.
A social responsibility program
20% of total profit given to a child association fighting against illness
4. Philosophy
One theory of soul mates, presented by Aristophanes in Plato's Symposium, is that humans
originally consisted of four arms, four legs, and a single head made of two faces, but Zeus
feared their power and split them all in half, condemning them to spend their lives searching
for the other half to complete them.
A simple kiss would make you understand your other half to complete your self. A kiss is
touching of one's lips to another person or object, used to express love, passion,
affection, respect, greeting and good luck.
The first International Photograph Gallery Road Show will pass through multi cultural cities
of the World as Moscow, Brussels, Istanbul, Antalya, Paris, Barcelona, Milan, London, Berlin,
Prague to meet you with a kiss.
5. Objectives
To provide cultural interactions between the cities
To ensure the development of fine Art photography
To give an opportunity for the amateur photographers to achieve their dream
To bring international celebrities on screen with a unique concept of TV Show
To provide the audience with a delightful program, combining art and entertainment
programs
7. About
19 episodes – 1st season + 1 director’s cut DVD version
In each episode, we will follow 1 famous photographer with his fellow amateur
26 minutes length for each episode
Show’s main language will be English and will be subtitled and voiceover to Spanish,
French, Italian, Russian, Turkish and Czech.
The "Kiss and the City” TV Show aims to follow young, talented amateur photographers on their quest to learning
more about the craft and fine art of photography.
The episodes follow the photography-students and their professional tutors on a "road trip" which takes them
from Istanbul through the most important cities of the world, including major capitals of Europe.
The idea is to allow these promising newcomers to test their ideas and their budding knowledge in various
locations and circumstances - to give them a chance to confront the "Real World" with all its beauty and brutality,
complexity and possibilities.
We're out ON THE ROAD, in some of the most fascinating, famous places on earth – and this should be felt on the
screen. The dust, the wind, the streets, the buildings, the energy… And, maybe most importantly, the encounters
with the local PEOPLE.

an interest in endangered demographics and marginalized peoples throughout the world. On the border between documentary photography and artistic expression, his

contexts.Today, Rip Hopkins is once again seeking spaces for expression ; this time closer to home. The images he creates give an unusual view of our society. He
concentrates with great finesse on the practice of color, and passes with total freedom from landscapes to scenery or portraits. While working for the press, institutions,
and advertising, he has developed personal projects exploring the limits, possibilities, and surprises of photography. His work is included in international private and public

his coverage of the Soviet war in Afghanistan. McCurry disguised himself in native dress and hid his film by sewing it into his clothes. His images were among the first of
the conflict and were widely published. His coverage won the Robert Capa Gold Medal for Best Photographic Reporting from Abroad. McCurry's most recognized photo is
that of "Afghan Girl", a previously unidentified Afghan refugee. The image itself was named as "the most recognized photograph" in the history of the National Geographic
magazine and her face became famous as the cover photograph on the June 1985 issue. The photo has also been widely used on Amnesty International brochures,
posters, and calendars. The identity of the "Afghan Girl" remained unknown for over 15 years until McCurry and a National Geographic team located the woman, Sharbat
Gula, in 2002. Steve McCurry is portrayed in a TV documentary titled "The Face of the Human Condition" (2003) by French award-winning filmmaker Denis Delestrac.
Although McCurry shoots both in digital and film, his admitted preference is for transparency film. Eastman Kodak let McCurry to shoot the last ever produced roll of
