Vodafone Launch Qatar



The introduction of Vodafone to Qatar was awaited with much excitement and
enthusiasm, and WMP was selected to produce the IPO launch.

This was to be an IPO with a difference - Vodafone wanted an event to deliver
the legally required IPO financial information, but also deliver a Vodafone
‘branding experience’. The event was attended by VVIPS including ministers,
and some of the most influential people in the country, to officially launch
Vodafone in Qatar.

We created a spectacular event site overlooking Doha Bay. An amazing,
dramatically lit tent structure, a 15m diameter Stratosphere playing video
throughout the evening, skytracker beams lighting the sky, acrobats and
football freestylers performing stunts, paramotors engaged in choreographed
aerial displays, all combined to create a lively, and attention grabbing show.



This show is a fun, interactive event that we have run for
many years for travel agents and sponsors to introduce
them to the new Kuoni Worldwide brochure, and keep
them up-to-date with the exciting new developments
from Kuoni Travel.

Focused around a memorable creative theme, the event
is staged across 8 cities in the UK. The lively evening
includes an interactive quiz hosted by the animated
Kuoni team and stunning video presentations created by
our in-house video team.

Aspetar, the leading orthopaedic and sports medicine
hospital in Qatar, came to WMP to run an event
announcing the awarding of the highly regarded FIFA
F-Marc accreditation to the hospital for their excellent
care of sporting injuries.

WMP designed the show concept, and managed the set
up of the event in a spectacular inﬂatable tent within the
hospital grounds. We also created all the event
collateral, designed the show screen content, created
the opening video, and managed the whole show
production.

We were very happy with everything, this was a great
event.



The Team We have successfully designed and produced a number
of the Professional Channel Key Partners conferences
for Sony over the years, running events in Malta, Athens,
Rome and Marcella.

These events update distributors with developments
within the industry and to highlight Sony’s exciting new
technologies. For some of these projects we have
managed both Logistics and Production, all the way
from writing scripts and creating screen support through
to staging and managing the hospitality program
