Born between 1965 and 1980, Gen X like structured work hrs and are not comfortable with flexi hrs.
They would rather read something in paper form than online and/or access a book rather than a mobile device
They are concerned with organizing their affairs and are often financially committed but not over committed
Gen X often focus on and value one thing at any given time, whereas Gen Y value the ability to multitask
Gen X prefer information on a “just in case” basis rather than  “just in time” as preferred by Gen Y
Gen X often perceive learning “with” their students as being underprepared or possibly as a weakness. As a teacher they should have the knowledge.
They value the ability to persevere and being able to endure the process of learning
Gen X know www as world wide web, whereas Gen Y know it as  whatever, whenever, wherever.
