How to embed presentations using the Open Source, Chisimba-based web present in 9 easy steps. This is not an alternative to Slideshare, but has the advantage of integration with the KEWL3 eLearning application and other Chisimba applications. There is also a Moodle plugin available.

1. Upload your presentations to http://chameleon.uwc.ac.za

2. Open a web browser and browse to the URL http://chameleon.uwc.ac.za & click the login link on the toolbar 1 Click the login link on the toolbar

3. Enter your user name Enter your password Check Network Id (use your Novell username) Click login 2

4. Click upload on the toolbar to upload your first presentation 3

5. Click browse to locate your presentation on your computer 4

6. Browse to wherever the presentation is located and select it (e.g. Documents) 5

7. Click upload when you have located the file you want to upload 6

8. Important: The upload can take several minutes, or longer if you are on a slow connection. Please be patient! The striped animation indicates that the file is uploading. Do not disturb the upload 7

9. 8 Enter a title Provide a description Add some tags separated by commas Choose a license. UWC strategy suggests BY-SA Click Update to finish the process

10. 9 Now you presentation is on line and ready for use in a content page
