KINGDOMS
The plant kingdom. They can’t move
around.They make their own food.
BushesTrees
THE ANIMAL KINGDOM
• They can move around
They eat other animals for
example this animal eats fish
VERTEBRATE INVERTEBRATES
The fungi kingdoms
• Fungi are similar to plants in that they
can’t move around. There are four
types:mushrooms,yeast,tree living
fungus,mould.
Musrhooms Yeast
CELLS
• All living things are made up of cells. You
can only see them with a
microscope.Bacteria,have just one cell.
INVERTEBRATES
MOLLUSCS JELLYFISH SPONGES
ANNELIDSECHINODERMS ARTHROPODS
• MOLLUSC: they
have a soft muscular
body.
SPONGES:
they have soft
bodies
covered with
little holes
• JELLYFISH:
they live in the
sea and have a
soft body called
umbrella and
long tentacles.
ECHINODERMS:
they live in the
sea.They’re protected
from predators by
hard skin or spikes,
like a starfish
• ANNELIDS:
Some live in the
sea.They have
a long,soft body
divided into
segments. The
earthworm
helps soil to get
air.

ARTHROPODS:
the biggest
group is
insects.They
have a
head,thorax and
abdomen,jointed
legs and a
exoskeleton.
VERTEBRATES
• All vertebrates have a
backbone.Respiration: mammals,reptiles
and birds breathe with lungs.
The fish use gills to get oxygen from the water
REPRODUCTION
• All mammals are born directly from their
mothers.They are viviparous.
• All other groups reproduce by laying eggs.
They are oviparous.
NUTRITION
Most vertebrate animals are omnivores or
carnivores
Some mammals, like fish and birds are
herbivores.
FOOD CHAIN
• The plant makes its own food using the nutrients in the
soil made by the decomposers.
• Consumer (herbivores). The rabbits eats the plants.
• Consumer ( carnivores). The lion eats the rabbit.
• Descomposer. When the lion dies, bacteria and fungi
break down the lion remains and turn them into nutrients.
The plant kingdom
• Sexual reproduction: in sexual
reproduction pollen goes from the stamen
of one flower to the pistil.
• The pollen joins an ovule to make a
seed.This is called fertilisation.The pistil
grows around the seed into a fruit. The fruit
falls to the ground and the seed grows into
a new plant.
Asexual reproduction
• Runners: are stems wich grow along the
ground.Tubers: tubers are swollen stems
which grow under the ground.
TEMA 1 ENGLISH
• T-shirt,raincoat,woolly hat,baseball
cap,sandals,scarf,swimsuit,swimming
trunks,mittens,sweater,wellies and
sunglasses.
SPORT DOME
• Play golf,do karate,do ballet,go ice
skating,play table tennis,play volleyball,go
sailing,go skiing, do archery ,play
hockey,play squash and play badminton.
