2. 1. LIGHT
 We need light to see:
 Light moves in a straight line.
 Light moves very fast.

3. 2. LIGHT AND SHADOWS
 When light cannot travel through an object,a shadow is
formed.
 The shadow of an object is always formed in the
opposite side to the source of light

4. 3. COLOURS
 The light we get from the sun is called white light
 White light is a mixture of seven colours:
red,orange,yellow,green,blue,indigo and violet
 The primary colours are: blue red and yellow

5. MIXTURE
 Three mixtures of the primary colours
Y + B = G
R + B = V
Y + R = O

6. 1.BODIES AND LIGHT
 Transparent,translucent and opaque objects
 Luminous and non-luminous bodies
 Natural luminous bodies
 Artificial luminous bodies

8. 1.LUMINOUS AND NON-LUMINOUS BODIES
1) Natural luminous bodies, like the sun produce light
2) Artificial luminous bodies like candle,are man-
made
3) Some objects are sources of light. We call them
luminous bodies.
4) Non-luminous bodies produce no light

9. 1.HEAT
 Heat goes from one body to another
 Conductors and insulators

10. 2.HEAT GOES FROM ONE
BODY TO ANOTHER
 Heat goes from hot bodies to colder bodies
