PURPOSE (TARGET) 200% Aim for the best Low aimers fall below the mark. God loves high aimers, because we are His children. The man with 5+5 talents made God happy. 5. ASK Ask teachers, elders if you have any doubts. Ask and it shall be given. 6. REST WELL Rest comes only after work; not before work! 7. EAT WELL Not Junk, but good food. Pray to Jesus, “Give us this day our daily bread.” TIPS TO STUDY-SLATE 1. SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE Study step by step. Master the lessons bit by bit. They say one can even eat an elephant, but in piecemeal. 2. LANDMARKS AND MILESTONES MAKE IT EASIER Jot down notes. Place memory landmarks that will help you remember stuff. Try mnemonics. Also, maintain a progress record. 3. ASK AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN UNTO YOU Ask questions of the lesson. Ask it to yourself and try to discover the answer by studying the lesson again and again. In case, it’s too difficult seek help of others. 4. TEACH OTHERS AND YOU’LL BE MASTER OF IT Share the things that you learnt with others. Discuss it. When you teach it to others, you really are able to remember. 5. EXAMINE YOURSELF WELL BEFORE YOU’RE EXAMINED BY OTHERS Revise, Repeat, Rehearse. Meditate. Try answering questions and engaging in discussions usually provided at the end of the lesson. INSIDE THE EXAMINATION HALL 1. Get inside in time. 2. Read the question paper well. 3. Distribute time and answer according to questions. Keep to the time or you may run out of time. 4. Put the question numbers right. 5. Answer the easy ones first. 6. You can leave space where you think you can come back and write again. 7. If you don’t write something anywhere, cross the white space. 8. For multiple choice, better to first mark it with pencil, and then when you’re sure mark it with pen. 9. If you wish to cross out a word, just cross with one line. 10. Write only Question numbers outside margin. Everything else must be inside margin. 11. Write legibly and clearly. Bad handwriting will bring less marks. 12. Try to stay in the examination hall till the last bell and only then submit your paper. In case, you forgot something, you can correct or write.
