The Travel Industry Council of Ontario is pleased to inform you that you have successfully
obtained a PASS mark on the TICO Education Standards Travel Counsellor Exam.
Please note that while travel counsellors have to meet the legislated Education Standard,
TICO does not register individuals. Successfully passing the Education Standard exam
only allows you to sell travel services or counsel consumers for the purpose of selling travel
Bervices on behalf of a TICO registered Ontario travelagency. Ontario travel agencies are
responsible for the actions of their employees and outside sales representatives and for
ensuring that those individuals meet the educational requirements.
Your employer will require a copy of the enclosed Certificate as proof that you have
complied with the Education Standards. Please ensure that you keep the original in a
safe place.
