Overview of Heredity

• Definition: In genetics the complete set of

• Rating of Control:0
• Selling Point: You have no control over
heredity because it all happens before you are
born, there is nothing you can do
Research of Influence of Heredity
Example: Heredity influences predispositions
• Stat: “… heredity influence[s] a persons predispositions…”
Citation: : http://www.todaysseniors.com/wp/senior-health/how-does-heredity-affect-my-mental-health/
Example: Heredity affects mental health
Stat: “It's the same basic principle as if someone inherits back
problems or cancer, it runs in your genes. You can inherit
   Anxiety/Depression from your family.”

Example: Hereditary genes can increase your chance of cancer
Stat: “When someone has inherited an abnormal copy of a gene, their
cells already start out with one mutation. This makes it all the easier
(and quicker) for enough mutations to build up for a cell to become
cancer. “
