You are creating new value interdependently, value that provides leverage to each side.
Important note: it’s about creating new value, not about pecuniary exchange.
A clear overview what’s in it for whom and how. Very important to be open about what you want to get out of the partnership. Don’t hide what you’re aiming for. Non-disclosure will hit you in the face in the mid term.
