Doris Herrmann from Clear Creek ISD outlines the process of implementing flipped classrooms at Clear Falls High School. The key steps included convincing administrators by providing research on benefits, creating uniform procedures for video access and assignments, training teachers starting with a small pilot group, and gaining parent buy-in through an informational parent night and regular communication. Teachers were given flexibility in video creation tools while maintaining some consistency in assignments and support for students without home internet access. Initial results were promising based on student grades, engagement surveys, and interviews. Resources for continued learning and training were also provided.
