17. PNEUMATIC TRANSPORT SYSTEM
• Comparison of sample transport time by using pneumatic tube system
(PTS) and human courier system
• 1st July to 30th July 2012
• 20 samples by PTS and 20 samples by human couriers
• Average time taken by PTS- 1min 5sec (12sec to 3min 35 sec.) and
human courier- 6min 1sec (2min 30 sec to 18min.)
• Significantly reduce sample transport time
