Dr. Joshua Safeek was born in Georgetown, Guyana on the Atlantic coast of South
America in 1964, and grew up steeped in the cultural and heritage of the Guyanese.
Safeek acquired his high school diploma in 1982, as well as his technical school
diploma. Deeply interested in advancing his education and developing his innate skills,
Safeek acquired a Certificate of Management Skills for Engineering in 1985.
