He was appointed to the Governing Council of Yayasan Sime Darby on 16 October 2008.
Currently he is a Chairman of FECCables (M) Sdn Bhd, a Director of Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB),
Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad, Perbadanan Usahawan NasionalBerhad, SP Setia Berhad and Amanah
Mutual Berhad. He is also a board member of the Securities Industry DevelopmentCorporation (SIDC), the
training and development arm of the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC).
He was formerly the Chairman of Berger InternationalLtd based in Singapore, and Deputy Chairman of
InternationalBank Malaysia Berhad.
