Dr. Shama is a pediatrician and yoga consultant based in Bangalore, India. He has over 60 years of experience and holds numerous degrees including an M.B.B.S. from Mysore University in 1955, an M.D. in Pediatrics from Karnataka University in 1967, and a Ph.D. in Yoga Science from Bangalore University in 2005. He has published several books on yoga and its benefits for pregnancy. Dr. Shama has also authored research papers on topics like the efficacy of yoga on pregnancy outcomes and its use for pregnant women with abnormal Doppler studies. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Shama is a Professor Emeritus at SVYASA University in
