Our school in Greece

3. Our school was built in 1980. It is a two-storey building with 12 classrooms, a staff room, a
gym, a small canteen and an Assembly Hall.

9. A classroom in the school.
There are 160 students in our school,aged 6 to 12.

10. School starts at 8.10 and finishes at 1.15.
Students learn Greek, Maths,Geography, Physics, Religious Education, English,
History, Art and Physical Education.

11. The staff room.
There are 10 teachers who teach most subjects, a P.E. teacher, an English teacher(that's
me!), two teachers for pupils with learning disabilities and the headmaster.

12. School year starts on the 10th of September and finishes on the 15th of June.
There are two 15-day holidays: one at Christmas and another at Easter.

13. This is the canteen of the school where students can buy snacks during the breaks.

14. This is the school playground where students play during the breaks.
