<ul><li>Now a days when ICT is being used in all the fields of life viz; Agriculture, Education, Industry, Telecommunication, Health etc., it is difficult to name any field where the ICT is not being used. Making the use of ICT by the people who knows the Computer, Internet, etc. it is certainly appreciable, but making the good use of ICT by the poorest of the poor who are illiterate or semi-illiterate and who does not know how to operate Computer and Internet - is a miracle and marvelous achievement. </li></ul>

<ul><li>In Andhra Pradesh the minority people who are having quite less literacy rate, than other communities have lot of desire for studies and education, but due to their financial constraints they are not able to send their children especially girls to Schools and Colleges for study/ The Government of Andhra Pradesh introduced full reimbursement of tuition fee and scholarship to the minority students on saturation basis since 2008-09. Before that it was not on saturation basis. Since 2008-09 we have introduced Online Scholarship Management System (OSMS) for filing the scholarship applications online and the applications are being sanctioned online and the amount is being transferred to the students accounts and College accounts online. Since then enrolment of students is increasing year by year and the students are taking admissions in the best schools due to the guarantee given by the Government for the full reimbursement of tuition fee and due to online OSMS which is a user-friendly, 24x7 and transparent. </li></ul>

<ul><li>The burqa – claded women of minority community who are earlier not knowing how to open bank account, what is a computer, how to file application online and were helped by the Minority Finance Corporation, Voluntary Organizations and the elders of the community, as a result at the time of online application all the burqa cladded ladies are being seen in large number making beeline in the banks for opening of bank accounts for their children also in the Tahsildar offices for issuance of income certificates for their children and also in Cyber cafes to file online forms of their children. </li></ul>

<ul><li>Enrolment of students in primary level as well as in post matric courses has increased enormously. </li></ul><ul><li>Drop out rate of the students has decreased substantially. </li></ul><ul><li>Earlier the students after completing class XII ,were taking admissions in general courses like BA, B.Com.B.SC. due to less tuition fees for these courses , but now they are taking admissions in B.Tech. MBBS, MBA, MCA, BCA, M.Tech.MS, MD etc., </li></ul><ul><li>The minority girl students whose percentage was much less than minority boys are taking admissions in the Colleges more in number with increase in their percentage when compared to minority boys. </li></ul><ul><li>Maximum number of ranks in the Top Ten rank list of EAMCET( Engineering and Medicine Common Entrance Test), Class X & XII are being bagged by minority girl students. </li></ul>In the last three years due to OSMS the following effects have been noticed:
