extravagant and
exciting
Text is very bright but
sharp. Could present
a violent yet feminine
film. Unique.
Slogan lets you
know that it is a
story about a
holiday with a
twist.
Guns are very
subtle in the
poster
suggesting they
are up to no
good.
Colours black and pink usually
would be associated with out
going, dark, females.
Something I think many
teenagers would enjoy.
Poster could link to Bulmer
And Kazz’s ‘Uses of
Gratification’ point about
persona identity, and make a
young audience see the ‘cool’
looking teenagers and aspire
to be like them, therefore
making them want to see it.
This film is clearly targeted at
a teenage audience. Because
it would appeal to young
people it would be something
they could talk about and see
together, allowing them to
build relationships with others
which is an example of a use
of gratification in the media.
The poster seems extremely
unique, including girls in
bikini’s with guns, which goes
against the norm. Seeing this
poster would make you want
to watch the film, as it would
probably give you one of the
uses of gratification –
diversion. Watching
something with an original
and interesting story line
allows the audience to escape
and go into another world.
