Ben Elowitz is co-founder and CEO of Wetpaint, a media company with over 10MM monthly unique users and major media partners including Fox, Showtime, HBO, Microsoft and Turner. Prior to Wetpaint, Ben was co-founder and vice president of Blue Nile (NILE), the leading online retailer of certified diamonds and fine jewelry. He oversaw the company’s front-end operations, which included product management, technology, and creative services. Blue Nile is widely acknowledged as the first and most successful online luxury goods retail site. Prior to Blue Nile, he was an early employee at Fatbrain.com (FATB), an early e-commerce company that went public in 1998 and sold to Barnes & Noble in 1999.
