Wer hat die meisten Fans und wer stößt mit seinen Skandalen auf Ablehnung? » ethority untersuchte 2009 in zwei Wellen die konsumentengenerierten Äußerungen zu 245 internationalen Prominenten aus 7 Bereichen. » Analysiert wurden Nutzermeinungen auf Social- Media-Kanälen wie z. B. Foren, Communities und Weblogs. Promibarometer – V.I.P. in Social Media

Untersuchungsdesign » Automatische Erhebung von Nutzermeinungen in Onlinemedien durch die ethority Monitoringtechnologie „gridmaster“ » In der ersten Erhebungswelle von Februar bis April 2009 wurden 130.000 Usermeinungen untersucht und in der zweiten Welle von Mai bis August 2009 weitere 225.000 Äußerungen zu insgesamt 245 internationalen Prominenten aus 7 Bereichen. » Um eine hohe Ergebnisqualität zu gewährleisten, wurden spezielle automatisierte Bereinigungs- und Qualitätssicherungstools angewendet. » Auswertung & Analyse durch unser interdisziplinäres Research Team Promibarometer – V.I.P. in Social Media

Ergebnisse im Überblick »Diese Studie zeigt, für welche Prominente sich die Web 2.0-Nutzer am meisten interessieren. »Darüber hinaus wird deutlich, welche VIPs bei den Nutzern gut ankommen und als Vorbild gesehen werden und welche VIPs auf Quelle: Youtube Ablehnung und Kritik stoßen. »Die wichtigste Veränderung zwischen der ersten und der zweiten Erhebung: Nach seinem Tod steht Michael Jackson nun auf Platz 1 des ethority Promibarometers – in der Quelle: Youtube ersten Erhebung belegte der Moonwalker noch den 21. Abstieg der jeweiligen Prominenten in der Rangfolge angezeigt. » Der größte Gewinner im Hinblick auf das Gesprächsaufkommen ist Eminem: seine Position steigerte nach der Veröffentli- chung seines neuen Albums um ganze 59 Plätze. » Unter den deutschen Prominenten verstärkte sich das Gesprächs- aufkommen zu Heidi Klum durch Germany‘s next Topmodel so sehr (von 25 auf 11), dass sie Boris Becker hinter sich ließ.
