nurturing subjects though
they had equal rights.
• Most women were
allowed to work. Many
were housewives as well.
• Men also helped women
in household work but

CONCLUSION
• Most of the household work

• All women agreed that the government has
helped in making equal rights for men and

• Opportunities for women have definitely

did change.

8. Opinion of our generation
• Emancipation is growing, hence job
opportunities are increasing.
• Work is almost equal for both.
• Women aren’t ignored anymore.
• Women can almost work in any industries.
• Boys and girls have equal opportunities in
choosing educational subjects.
• Government has played a huge role in achieving
this equality.
9. Reflection
• Our group enjoyed working together and we
became more sensitive towards our grandparents
and parents issues regarding gender related roles.
•Interviewing parents and grandparents was
interesting.
•Convincing a few grandparents for video interview
was a little difficult.
•We feel that the present generation is luckier than
previous two generations.
