-Work is a family affair and a lot of time off is spent with the family.\n-Only 45% of women work and 70% of men work.\n-The women prefer to stay home and cook and clean and take care of the kids and let the husband provide all the income.\n-A child goes to school from Monday-Saturday; 8:30-1:30.\n-Depending on where you are in the country, there is a 3 hour break.\n-For example, at 1:00 all shops and businesses close and then reopen at 4:00.\n-This gives workers time to go home and spend time with family and friends.\n\n
-Italy has the most amount of small family businesses in all of Europe. \n-2/3 of industries are small family owned companies. \n-Italians like to keep their businesses small so that the family can maintain control.\n-Bars\n-Gelato, coffee, and pastries.\n-Brosche is a roll of bread with ice cream inside.\n-There is at least one bar on every block.\n\n
-Soccer is more than a sport or a business.\n-Fans say that it is a part of living.\n-Won the world cup 4 times, the last time was in 2006. \n-Soccer games are on every Sunday after church, so families gather around the TV and watch the game together every week.\n

-Dr. Verderame is the head doctor of the organization: LILT.\n-Italian League for the fight against cancer.\n-LILT is located all over the country.\n-Dr. Verderame&#x2019;s clinic is located in Sciacca, Sicily. \n-Is always accepting donations, so that is how I decided to raise money for them.\n\n
-Jars were placed in our local pizzerias: Little Sicily, Angelos, and Franzones because Dr. Francesco Verderame&#x2019;s favorite food is pizza so I thought that would be a cool idea. \n\n
-My work donated a full box of 120 mini cannoli shells for my application.\n-The filling was homemade. Ricotta cheese, sugar and chocolate chips, powdered sugar.\n-Sold them for $1\n-The first day was my trial day. Brought in 40 cannolis and sold all of them by the end of 2nd period. \n-Brought the last 80 on the second day and sold them by the end of period 4/5.\n-Thank you!!!\n
