Feed unless you decide to post
them there, too.
Facebook Camera & Stories are rolling out to all Pages globally on
iOS & Android. With the Facebook Camera, take a photo or video
in the moment or upload one from your camera roll and add any
of the hundreds of creative effects such as frames, masks and
stickers to personalize your message.
Share these moments to your Page’s Story, which is a separate
space above News Feed, where followers can view what you
posted for a limited period of time. You can use the Camera to
post to either News Feed or Stories.Facebook Stories provides a
new way for Pages to engage
with their audience in a more
frequent, authentic and
visually immersive way to build
a deeper connection. This is
just one way we’re helping
people share fun, fast, fleeting
moments.
Go to your Page and click on ‘Add to Story’ to enter the Camera
In the Camera, capture or upload a photo and video and add effects, if desired
Click on the arrow or the “Add to Story” shortcut at the bottom of the screen
Choose to “Post to Stories” as the Page.

As you build for Facebook Stories, we encourage you to keep in
mind the following best practices:

Stories allow for frequent, authentic, and casual communication. Share a different
perspective of your Page such as behind-the-scenes, sneak peeks, day-in-the-life type
moments.
“Stitch” photos or videos together to tell a more sequential story.
Stories is optimal for short form vertical content, from a first-person perspective. It’s best
to avoid anything that is longer than one minute.
People have the option to unfollow a Page or mute stories from specific Pages - so
optimize the content you’re sharing for this format to keep people engaged but not
overwhelm followers.
Don’t forget to use the creative tools within the Facebook Camera to help personalize your
message - add text, doodles, masks, frames, stickers and more!
Pages will be able to see the
number of people that watch their
stories and how many minutes are
spent watching the video content
they posted.

Facebook Stories for Pages: Quick Guide

H O W T O C R E AT E S T O R I E S Photos and videos shared to a story can be viewed for 24 hours after they are posted, and won’t appear on your own personal Story, Page timeline or in News Feed unless you decide to post them there, too. Facebook Camera & Stories are rolling out to all Pages globally on iOS & Android. With the Facebook Camera, take a photo or video in the moment or upload one from your camera roll and add any of the hundreds of creative effects such as frames, masks and stickers to personalize your message. Share these moments to your Page’s Story, which is a separate space above News Feed, where followers can view what you posted for a limited period of time. You can use the Camera to post to either News Feed or Stories.Facebook Stories provides a new way for Pages to engage with their audience in a more frequent, authentic and visually immersive way to build a deeper connection. This is just one way we’re helping people share fun, fast, fleeting moments. Go to your Page and click on ‘Add to Story’ to enter the Camera In the Camera, capture or upload a photo and video and add effects, if desired Click on the arrow or the “Add to Story” shortcut at the bottom of the screen Choose to “Post to Stories” as the Page. As you build for Facebook Stories, we encourage you to keep in mind the following best practices: Stories for Pages Stories allow for frequent, authentic, and casual communication. Share a different perspective of your Page such as behind-the-scenes, sneak peeks, day-in-the-life type moments. “Stitch” photos or videos together to tell a more sequential story. Stories is optimal for short form vertical content, from a first-person perspective. It’s best to avoid anything that is longer than one minute. People have the option to unfollow a Page or mute stories from specific Pages - so optimize the content you’re sharing for this format to keep people engaged but not overwhelm followers. Don’t forget to use the creative tools within the Facebook Camera to help personalize your message - add text, doodles, masks, frames, stickers and more! Pages will be able to see the number of people that watch their stories and how many minutes are spent watching the video content they posted.
