Location Hazard Avoidance
Location 1 – Danbury Lakes, pond area (Danbury) - pond (not fenced off) - stay well back from edge of pond
- slippery (during winter) - if filming runs into night time, some form of
- falling over due to poor / no lighting artificial light must be used
- uneven ground - suitable footwear must be worn by actress and
- dogs may not be on a lead filming crew
- camera equipment could get damaged by water - assure life belt is at hand
Location 2 – Danbury Lakes, greenery - use of agricultural machinery and pesticides - no accessibility during planting and harvesting
- slippery or uneven ground - appropriate sensible footwear at all times
- damage to grass or plants - walk on designated path
- poor weather conditions could damage filming - try and choose days that are more quiet e.g.
equipment weekdays
- dogs may not be on a lead
Location 3 – Danbury Park, Danbury - play area equipment may be unsafe - a torch or other artificial light is essential at
- children will be running around night
- getting lost (especially at night) - suitable footwear must be worn
-crowded areas - sensible clothing must be worn when using
apparatus
-be aware of others, ask permission if they enter
shot etc.
Location 4 – Garden Shed - tools and gardening equipment could injure - insure all equipment is safely stored away and
- wooden floorboards could cause splinters that the area is tidy
- damp surrounding areas - lay a protective mat on the floor
- wear suitable footwear
