allocated money
14. Choosing the right initiatives
Is there a clear need/opportunity?
Has any groundwork being done?
Is there an identified response that can be supported
through this initiative?
Is it aligned with strategy?
Is the timing right?
Will the impact be sustained?
15. What is realistically achievable by
December 2020?
Think creatively about how to use the money.
What initiatives are worth funding?
What kind of change are you aiming for?
• Is it a scoping initiative?
• Is it a developmental initiative?
• Is it an upscaling initiative?

This call the funding has already been allocated to institutions and is available to them once they have submitted their proposals and they have been reviewed. If any clarifications come up on a particular proposal during the review process. The NF will work with the institution to ensure queries from the review panel are dealt with before the teaching and learning initiative begins.
