I am a PhD candidate working on x265 open source version of H.265/HEVC video compression standard with focus on GOPs, Motion Estimation & Camera activity classification, CODEC complexity in a Optimization framework called DRASTIC (Dynamically Reconfigurable Architecture for Time-varying Imaging Constraints) developed in our lab ivPCL (Image and Video Processing and Communications Lab).
