Research experience (Two Years)
 Currently working as Research Associate in Rice trait group at DuPont Knowledge
Centre, E.I DuPont India Pvt Ltd, Genome valley, Hyderabad, India.
 One year and four months experience as a Senior Research Fellow in a DBT funded
project entitled ‘Development of STMS and SCAR markers in bitter gourd
(Momordica charantia L.) and their utilization for genetic characterization and tagging
of gynoecious trait, at National Research Centre on DNA Fingerprinting, National
Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources, Indian Agriculture Research Institute, New Delhi.
 Two years research experience in CSIR funded project entitled ‘Identification of
gender specific DNA marker in Date palm (Phoenix dactylifera L.) during master’s
programme.

Conserving Crops Germplasm” for Biology Teachers of Delhi schools organized by
International Genetic Congress Trust (Genome club, chairperson- Dr M S Swaminathan)
at NBPGR on 16-17 Nov’07, in collaboration with M S Swaminathan Research Foundation.
 Participated as Research Instructor in International training course on “In Vitro and
Cryopreservation Techniques for Conservation of Plant Genetic Resources” organized
by Bioversity International at NBPGR (National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources) from
17-29 November, 2008, in collaboration with ICAR (Indian Council of Agriculture
Research) and APAARI (Asia-Pacific Association of Agricultural Research Institutions).
Summer Training
 One month training at Kalra Pathology & Microbiology laboratory, Hisar on pathological
tests (like Hb, Blood group, ESR, Urine, stool, cholesterol, glucose tolerance, uric acid,
pregnancy & HIV Tests).
 One month training at Metro Hospital & Trauma research Centre, Hisar in section of
