ThyroTone™
For more details visit:
http://www.ashwagandha.tk

Herbs are not chemicals synthesized in a laboratory; they are high quality foods, rich in compounds
that may be missing in today’s western diet. ThyroTone™ contains an advanced scientific blend of
nutrients to balance an under active thyroid gland.

Product Benefits

 Promotes and maintains a healthy, balanced thyroid for those with underactive thyroid

Ingredients

L-Tyrosine, B Vitamins, Kelp, Zinc, Selenium, Copper, Iodine, Irish Moss, Folate, Guggulsterone,
Ashwagandha

Historic Medicinal Use

ThyroTone™ is scientifically formulated to help maintain healthy thyroid function by incorporating a
powerful blend of thyroid supporting nutrients and minerals. This formula contains Iodine (from Kelp) and
a full gram of L-Tyrosine, the direct precursor to thyroid hormone production. These two properties are the
main elements in the body's thyroid hormone. Selenium, Zinc and Copper are also added to assist the body
in producing thyroid hormone. By introducing Guggul Extract to the formula, the body's metabolism is
increased without using animal glandulars. Therefore, ThyroTone™ is very suitable for vegans. Finally, a
perfectly balanced blend of B vitamins enhances the function of the endocrine glands. ThyroTone™ is
natural, safe and very effective.

 L-Tyrosine: Is an essential amino acid required for the synthesis of thyroid hormones, serotonin and
the neurotransmitters dopamine and norepinephrine. While our bodies can naturally product Tyrosine
from other amino acids, as we age, our bodies may not be able to keep up with the thyroid’s needs.
During metabolism, tyrosine joins forces with iodine in order to produce the thyroid hormones needed
to efficiently convert (metabolize) the calories from our diet into expendable energy. A weak reserve
of tyrosine can leave us feeling sluggish. As a result, our body reacts by storing more calories as fat for
energy. Research also supports L-Tyrosine’s ability to help in the management of stress arising from
    physical or psychological origins.

 Kelp: Is a good promoter of glandular health. It aids the thyroid in regulating the metabolism,
which helps digest food. Kelp has a reputation for speeding up the burning of excess calories by
controlling the body’s metabolism and is helpful in the nourishment of the body with its ability to
    stimulate metabolism.

Iodine: Is another key player in the metabolism game. Without it, metabolism simply can not take
place. The thyroid is the only gland in the human body capable of absorbing this trace element.
Typically found in shellfish and iodized salts, iodine is stored in the thyroid gland until needed for the
production of the thyroid hormones triiodothyronine and thyroxine. When combined with L- tyrosine
and other nutrients these two work synergistically to produce T3 and T4 thyroid hormone. Moreover,
iodine deficiencies have been linked to the formation of goiters, decreased energy and lack of
    concentration.

                                                                                                                 1
 B Vitamins: Are essential for the proper functioning of the endocrine glands, most notably the
    adrenals and the thyroid.

Zinc: Essentially a helper nutrient-mineral. Assists the body in producing thyroid hormone.

Selenium: This naturally occurring trace mineral is well known for its strong antioxidant properties
and natural synergism with other vitamins. Supplementing with selenium is essential for anyone
    concerned with sluggish thyroid performance.

Copper: Essentially a helper nutrient-mineral. Assists the body in producing thyroid hormone.

Irish Moss: Is a natural vegetarian source of many thyroid-supporting nutrients, including Iodine, a
key component in healthy metabolism. Irish moss has been consumed for thousands of years, and
many herbalists encourage its use to contribute to sound glandular health.

Folate: Essentially a helper nutrient. Assists the body in producing thyroid hormone.

Guggulsterone: The Guggul tree is native to India, and emits a resinous sap that has been used for
centuries as part of India's traditional medicine known as Ayurveda. Studies have shown that the
purified plant sterol extract from Guggulsterone can promote healthy thyroid function, and assist the
body in maintaining normal production of thyroxine and triiodo-thyronine.

Ashwagandha: It has been held in high regard by generations of people over the course of millennia
for its ability to increase vitality, energy, endurance and stamina, promote longevity and strengthen the
immune system without stimulating the body’s reserves.

Simply put, the thyroid gland relies heavily on a host supporting nutrients to produce the hormones
needed to ensure that metabolism goes off without a hitch. Without these vital nutrients, our ability to
metabolize food may slow down. Here's an easy way to remember how this process works. The less
thyroid supporting nutrients we have, the less thyroid hormone (T3 and T4) we produce. The less
thyroid hormone we produce, the less efficient our metabolic process becomes. The less effective our
metabolic process becomes, the less energy we produce. The less energy we produce, the more prone
we are to weight gain and fatigue.

Directions for Use

If taking any thyroid medications, MAO Inhibitors or any type of anti-depressant medication, consult a
health care practitioner prior to use.

Dosage

Take 2 capsule, two times per day on empty stomach or before meals.

Note

 For maximum effect, the ThyroTone™ formula must be taken consistently. It is important not to
    skip a dose.
 Allow one hour between taking different herbal preparations in capsule form and half an hour
    between liquid forms.

                                                                                                               2
What is Hypothyroidism?

When your thyroid gland produces less hormone than your body needs, a condition called hypothyroidism
occurs. This is commonly referred to as an underactive thyroid and is the most common thyroid disorder.

There are different types of thyroid disease and dysfunction:

 Hashimoto's Disease or Thyroiditis (one of the most common forms of hypothyroidism, an auto-
immune disease of the thyroid gland)
 Hypothyroidism caused by a sluggish thyroid gland or thyroid gland inflammation
 Hypothyroidism caused by surgery or medication
 Hypothyroidism caused by iodine deficiency
 Hypothyroidism caused by dysfunction of the pituitary gland

What are the symptoms of Hypothyroidism or Hashimoto's Thyroiditis?

     Chronic fatigue and weakness
 Weight Gain or difficulty losing weight
 Hair loss or coarse, dry hair
     Dry and rough skin
     Cold Intolerance
 Menstrual Irregularities (especially heavy menstrual periods)
     Decreased sex drive
     Memory loss
     Depression and irritability
     Constipation
     Muscle cramps
     Edema

* Not all of these symptoms are always present. If you are concerned that you may have Hypothyroidism or
Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, always consult your doctor who can determine your status by means of a blood
test to check TSH levels (the thyroid stimulating hormone produced by the pituitary gland) and T4 levels
(the main thyroid hormone). Levels can vary considerably between individuals and what is 'normal' for one
person is not necessarily normal for another. Doctors must be sensitive to the correlation between
symptoms and TSH and T4 levels in the individual. Because the 'normal' range varies from person to
person, some people may have hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism symptoms while TSH and T4 levels
determined by blood tests, appear normal.

Thyroid Function At-Home Test

Put a thermometer beside your bed. Upon awakening in the morning, before anything else, place
the thermometer snugly in your armpit for 15 minutes. Keep still. Remove the thermometer, take a
reading, and record the results. Repeat for 3 days. Add all 3 readings and then divide by three to get
your average temperature. If your average temperature is below 36.4°C (97.5°F) you may have a
low or under active thyroid, and you should talk to your doctor and discuss your readings. If you
are of childbearing age, do not perform this test 1 week prior to menstruating or during your cycle,
for accuracy reasons.

Tips for Easy Use

 Take with warm, quality water.
 For best results, take on an empty stomach.

                                                                                                          3

To Maximize Your Good Health

Just as herbs can be formulated to work synergistically, healing should also be done synergistically.
Some ailments require several products to support more than just the depleted body function or organ.
They should be used together to provide support to the body as a whole. A healthy diet is also very
important for healing; we cannot create an environment for health when we continue to bombard the body
with counter productive toxins.

Complementary Products

 Strauss Heartdrops®: We recommend the use of Strauss Heartdrops®. Increased circulation and a
healthy vascular system are beneficial for thyroid disorders.

 St. John’s Wort: We recommend the use of St. John’s Wort if depressed.

 Oxygen Solution™: Pure oxygen suspended in liquid form. Foreign bacteria are destroyed by
oxygen. Therefore many conditions and illnesses are relieved or eradicated by using this product.
Users report increased sense of vitality.

 BodiDetox Patch™: Our bodily systems, organs and glands are continually affected by the various
elements of the toxic environment around us. Once we cleanse ourselves of heavy metals and toxins,
the body is able to restore itself and its systems can function normally again.

Product Benefits  Promotes and maintains a healthy, balanced thyroid for those with underactive thyroid Ingredients L-Tyrosine, B Vitamins, Kelp, Zinc, Selenium, Copper, Iodine, Irish Moss, Folate, Guggulsterone, Ashwagandha Historic Medicinal Use ThyroTone™ is scientifically formulated to help maintain healthy thyroid function by incorporating a powerful blend of thyroid supporting nutrients and minerals. This formula contains Iodine (from Kelp) and a full gram of L-Tyrosine, the direct precursor to thyroid hormone production. These two properties are the main elements in the body's thyroid hormone. Selenium, Zinc and Copper are also added to assist the body in producing thyroid hormone. By introducing Guggul Extract to the formula, the body's metabolism is increased without using animal glandulars. Therefore, ThyroTone™ is very suitable for vegans. Finally, a perfectly balanced blend of B vitamins enhances the function of the endocrine glands. ThyroTone™ is natural, safe and very effective.  L-Tyrosine: Is an essential amino acid required for the synthesis of thyroid hormones, serotonin and the neurotransmitters dopamine and norepinephrine. While our bodies can naturally product Tyrosine from other amino acids, as we age, our bodies may not be able to keep up with the thyroid’s needs. During metabolism, tyrosine joins forces with iodine in order to produce the thyroid hormones needed to efficiently convert (metabolize) the calories from our diet into expendable energy. A weak reserve of tyrosine can leave us feeling sluggish. As a result, our body reacts by storing more calories as fat for energy. Research also supports L-Tyrosine’s ability to help in the management of stress arising from physical or psychological origins.  Kelp: Is a good promoter of glandular health. It aids the thyroid in regulating the metabolism, which helps digest food. Kelp has a reputation for speeding up the burning of excess calories by controlling the body’s metabolism and is helpful in the nourishment of the body with its ability to stimulate metabolism. Iodine: Is another key player in the metabolism game. Without it, metabolism simply can not take place. The thyroid is the only gland in the human body capable of absorbing this trace element. Typically found in shellfish and iodized salts, iodine is stored in the thyroid gland until needed for the production of the thyroid hormones triiodothyronine and thyroxine. When combined with L- tyrosine and other nutrients these two work synergistically to produce T3 and T4 thyroid hormone. Moreover, iodine deficiencies have been linked to the formation of goiters, decreased energy and lack of concentration. 1
  • 2. B Vitamins: Are essential for the proper functioning of the endocrine glands, most notably the adrenals and the thyroid. Zinc: Essentially a helper nutrient-mineral. Assists the body in producing thyroid hormone. Selenium: This naturally occurring trace mineral is well known for its strong antioxidant properties and natural synergism with other vitamins. Supplementing with selenium is essential for anyone concerned with sluggish thyroid performance. Copper: Essentially a helper nutrient-mineral. Assists the body in producing thyroid hormone. Irish Moss: Is a natural vegetarian source of many thyroid-supporting nutrients, including Iodine, a key component in healthy metabolism. Irish moss has been consumed for thousands of years, and many herbalists encourage its use to contribute to sound glandular health. Folate: Essentially a helper nutrient. Assists the body in producing thyroid hormone. Guggulsterone: The Guggul tree is native to India, and emits a resinous sap that has been used for centuries as part of India's traditional medicine known as Ayurveda. Studies have shown that the purified plant sterol extract from Guggulsterone can promote healthy thyroid function, and assist the body in maintaining normal production of thyroxine and triiodo-thyronine. Ashwagandha: It has been held in high regard by generations of people over the course of millennia for its ability to increase vitality, energy, endurance and stamina, promote longevity and strengthen the immune system without stimulating the body’s reserves. Simply put, the thyroid gland relies heavily on a host supporting nutrients to produce the hormones needed to ensure that metabolism goes off without a hitch. Without these vital nutrients, our ability to metabolize food may slow down. Here's an easy way to remember how this process works. The less thyroid supporting nutrients we have, the less thyroid hormone (T3 and T4) we produce. The less thyroid hormone we produce, the less efficient our metabolic process becomes. The less effective our metabolic process becomes, the less energy we produce. The less energy we produce, the more prone we are to weight gain and fatigue. Directions for Use If taking any thyroid medications, MAO Inhibitors or any type of anti-depressant medication, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Dosage Take 2 capsule, two times per day on empty stomach or before meals. Note  For maximum effect, the ThyroTone™ formula must be taken consistently. It is important not to skip a dose.  Allow one hour between taking different herbal preparations in capsule form and half an hour between liquid forms. 2
  • 3. What is Hypothyroidism? When your thyroid gland produces less hormone than your body needs, a condition called hypothyroidism occurs. This is commonly referred to as an underactive thyroid and is the most common thyroid disorder. There are different types of thyroid disease and dysfunction:  Hashimoto's Disease or Thyroiditis (one of the most common forms of hypothyroidism, an auto- immune disease of the thyroid gland)  Hypothyroidism caused by a sluggish thyroid gland or thyroid gland inflammation  Hypothyroidism caused by surgery or medication  Hypothyroidism caused by iodine deficiency  Hypothyroidism caused by dysfunction of the pituitary gland What are the symptoms of Hypothyroidism or Hashimoto's Thyroiditis?  Chronic fatigue and weakness  Weight Gain or difficulty losing weight  Hair loss or coarse, dry hair  Dry and rough skin  Cold Intolerance  Menstrual Irregularities (especially heavy menstrual periods)  Decreased sex drive  Memory loss  Depression and irritability  Constipation  Muscle cramps  Edema * Not all of these symptoms are always present. If you are concerned that you may have Hypothyroidism or Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, always consult your doctor who can determine your status by means of a blood test to check TSH levels (the thyroid stimulating hormone produced by the pituitary gland) and T4 levels (the main thyroid hormone). Levels can vary considerably between individuals and what is 'normal' for one person is not necessarily normal for another. Doctors must be sensitive to the correlation between symptoms and TSH and T4 levels in the individual. Because the 'normal' range varies from person to person, some people may have hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism symptoms while TSH and T4 levels determined by blood tests, appear normal. Thyroid Function At-Home Test Put a thermometer beside your bed. Upon awakening in the morning, before anything else, place the thermometer snugly in your armpit for 15 minutes. Keep still. Remove the thermometer, take a reading, and record the results. Repeat for 3 days. Add all 3 readings and then divide by three to get your average temperature. If your average temperature is below 36.4°C (97.5°F) you may have a low or under active thyroid, and you should talk to your doctor and discuss your readings. If you are of childbearing age, do not perform this test 1 week prior to menstruating or during your cycle, for accuracy reasons. Tips for Easy Use  Take with warm, quality water.  For best results, take on an empty stomach. 3
