  6. 6. UNITY <ul>When all elements and principles work together to create a pleasing image. Feeling of wholeness or stability in work of art. Harmony </ul>
  7. 7. VARIETY The use of differences and changes to increase visual interest of the work. Use of different forms and types of elements to create interest.
  8. 8. BALANCE <ul>The way the elements are arranged to create a feeling of stability. Can be symmetrical or asymmetrical </ul>
  9. 9. PROPORTION <ul>The comparative relationship of one part to another with respect to size, quantity, or degree. Scale Enlarged forms create importance. </ul>
