2. The platform
• An information architecture and an intelligent infrastructure that
enables exchange of data, relevant for drought analysis, as well as
continous automated sensing, monitoring and decision support for
drought risk management operations.
• Act. 1.3: review existing platforms and make a proposal for an
integration of IDMP products and data into one of them in order to
design a common concept of capacity development and knowledge
transfer.

7. INSPIRE Geoportal
• The INSPIRE Directive requires
the Commission to establish a
community geo-portal and the
Member States shall provide
access to their infrastructures
through the geo-portal as well as
through any access points they
themselves decide to operate.
• The INSPIRE geoportal provides
the means to search for spatial
data sets and spatial data
services, and subject to access restrictions, to view spatial data sets
from the EU Member States within the framework of the INSPIRE
Directive.
