SharePoint prompts for user name and password, every time when user tries to access files in SharePoint document library. Problem is limited to MS Office files (Word, Excel, etc.). PDF and non-Microsoft Office files are OK. Even when user enters valid credentials and checks “remember my credentials” checkbox, the dialog box keeps reappearing

A. Lastly, while still in Internet Options screen, hit Custom Level
Button Security Settings – Trusted Sites Zone window will pop-
up
B. Scroll all the way down and click on Automatic logon with
current user name and password radio button (2nd choice from
the bottom). Click OK twice to close the remaining windows
