1. For our Opening title Sequence we used a Bunsen burner
Health and Safety when using a Bunsen burner
1. Remove all papers, notebooks, combustible materialsand excess chemicalsfromthe area.
2. Tie-back any long hair, dangling jewellery, or looseclothing.
3. Notify others in the laboratory that the burner will be in use.
4. Use a lighter with extended nozzle to ignite the burner. Never use a match to ignite a burner.
5. Do not leave open flames unattended and never leavethe laboratory while the burner is on.
6. Shut off gas when its use is complete.
7. Allow the burner to cool before handling. Ensurethat the main gas valve is off before
leaving the laboratory.
