In the October’19-December’19 quarter, top tech. skills ranked in order are as follows : JavaScript, Java, Python, Angular.JS,
React.Js, JQuery, Node.JS, AWS, UI and REST API.

Introduction
The requirement for JavaScript witnessed an increase in regions like Delhi NCR, Bangalore and Chennai, whereas there was
an increase in hiring activity for Java in Mumbai and Hyderabad in December’19 with respect to November’19 month.
In the experience bracket of 0-1 years, 1-3 years, 4-6 years and 7-10 years, the growth rate of the hiring activity for JavaScript
went up from November’19 to December’19. For Java, the growth rate of the hiring activity increased in the experience
bracket of 0-1 years, 1-3 years and 4-6 years.

REST API Hiring activity for JavaScript witnessed an increase of 42% from
October’19 to December’19. Hiring activity for Java and Python
also grew by 46% and 48% respectively.
Other skills for which hiring activity witnessed an increase in
growth rate from October ’19 to December’19 are : Angular.JS,
React.JS, JQuery, Node.JS, AWS, UI and REST API. The respective
increase in hiring activity for these skills is as follows: 49%,
53%, 43%, 54%, 42%, 51% and 36%.

HIRING BY WORK EXPERIENCE : TOP 10 TECH. SKILLS
1.) JavaScript :
• In the experience bracket of 0-1 yrs., 1-3 yrs., 4-6 yrs., 7-10 yrs. and
11-15 yrs., the hiring activity for JavaScript witnessed an increase
of 29%, 5%, 3%, 8% and 1% respectively.
• There was a decrease of 10% in the number of JavaScript jobs in
the experience bracket of 15 yrs.+.
2.) Java :
• In the experience bracket of 0-1 yrs., 1-3 yrs. and 4-6 yrs., there was
an increase of 14%, 18% and 10% in the number of jobs for
JavaScript.
• In the experience bracket of 7-10 yrs., 11-15 yrs., and 15 yrs.+,
number of jobs declined by 9%, 1% and 6% respectively.

3.) Python :
• In the experience bracket of 0-1 yrs., 1-3 yrs., 4-6 yrs., 7-10 yrs. , 11-15
yrs. and 15 yrs.+ , the requirement for python witnessed a rise of 16%,
8%, 8%, 10%, 16% and 14% respectively.
4.) Angular.JS :
• In the experience bracket of 0-1 yrs., 1-3 yrs., 4-6 yrs. and 7-10 yrs., the
growth rate of hiring activity was 36%, 2%, 10% and 9% respectively.
• There was a decline of 4% and 9% for Angular.JS in the experience
bracket of 11-15 yrs. and 15 yrs.+ respectively.

5.) React.JS :
• There was an increase of 31%, 22%, 25% and 21% in the
number of jobs for React.JS in the experience bracket of 0-1 yrs.,
1-3 yrs., 4-6 yrs. and 7-10 yrs. respectively.
• There was a fall of 23% and 24% in the number of jobs in the
experience bracket of 11-15 yrs. and 15 yrs. + respectively.
6.) JQuery :
• In the experience bracket of 0-1 yrs., 1-3 yrs. and 7-10 yrs., the
hiring activity witnessed a rise of 18%, 2% and 5% respectively
for JQuery.
• There was a fall of 1%, 13% and 48% in the hiring activity for
JQuery in the experience bracket of 4-6 yrs., 11-15 yrs. and 15 yrs.

7.) Node.JS :
• In the experience bracket of 0-1 yrs., 1-3 yrs., 4-6 yrs. and 7-10
yrs., an increase of 53%, 22%, 13% and 6% was observed in the
number of jobs demanding knowledge of Node.JS.
• In the experience bracket of 11-15 yrs. and 15 yrs.+, there was a
drop of 2% and 27% respectively in the number of Node.JS jobs.
8.) AWS :
• In the experience bracket of 0-1 yrs., 1-3 yrs. ,4-6 yrs. and 7-10
yrs., the hiring activity for AWS went up by 10%, 10% ,5% and
2% respectively.
• In the experience bracket of 11-15 yrs. and 15 yrs.+, the hiring
activity fell by 11% and 34% respectively.

• In the experience bracket of 0-1 yrs., 1-3 yrs., 4-6 yrs., 7-10
yrs.,11-15 yrs. and 15 yrs.+, a rise of 7%,18%,27%,39%,36% and
16% was witnessed.
10.) REST API :
• In the experience bracket of 0-1 yrs., 1-3 yrs., 4-6 yrs. and 11-15
yrs., number of jobs rose by 53%, 23%, 12% and 23%
respectively.
• Number of jobs witnessed a decline of 8% in the experience
bracket of 7-10 yrs.

HIRING BY LOCATION : TOP 10 TECH. SKILLS
1.) JavaScript :
• In Delhi NCR Region, the requirement for JavaScript increased by 13%
in December’19 with respect to November’19.
• An increase of 4% in the hiring activity for JavaScript was observed in
the Bangalore region.
• There was a dip of 10% in JavaScript jobs in Mumbai.
• In Hyderabad, the hiring activity for JavaScript witnessed a marginal
rise of 1%.
• An increment of 8% in the number of JavaScript jobs in Chennai was
observed.
2.) Java :
• Number of Java jobs declined by 2% in the Delhi NCR Region from
November’19 to December’19.
• A slight increase of 1% was observed in the hiring activity for Java in
Bangalore.
• In Mumbai, the requirement for Java witnessed an increase of 3%.
• An increment of 10% was observed in the number of Java jobs in
Hyderabad.
• A slight increase of 1% was witnessed in the number of Java jobs in
Chennai.

3.) Python :
• The requirement for Python witnessed a decline of 6% in Delhi NCR
Region from November’19 to December’19.
• In Bangalore, python jobs went up by 11%.
• A 9 % increase in hiring activity was observed in Mumbai.
• There was a dip of 20% in number of python jobs in Hyderabad.
• The hiring activity for Python grew by 28% in Chennai.
4.) Angular.JS :
• Hiring activity went up by 25% for Angular.JS in Delhi NCR Region in
December’19.
• There was a marginal decline of 1% in the hiring activity in Bangalore.
• The recruitment activity witnessed a dip of 13% in Mumbai.
• Number of Angular.JS jobs decreased by 5% in Hyderabad in
December’19.
• The requirement for Angular.JS went up by 13% in Chennai.

• There was a rise of 8% in the hiring activity for React.Js jobs in
December’19 compared to November’19 in Delhi NCR Region.
• Jobs for React.JS went up by 32% in Bangalore.
• For Mumbai Location, the hiring activity witnessed an increase of
25%.
• A dip of 3% in the number of jobs posted for React.JS was
observed for Hyderabad location.
• There was a decline of 3% in the hiring activity for React.JS jobs
in Chennai.
6.) JQuery :
• A rise of 4% in the number of jobs for JQuery was observed for
Delhi NCR region.
• There was a rise of 6% in the hiring activity for JQuery in
Bangalore.
• A drop of 11% in the hiring activity was witnessed for Mumbai
location.
• There was a dip of 3% in the number of jobs in Hyderabad.
• For Chennai location, the decline in hiring activity was 7%.

• The hiring activity witnessed a growth of 18% in December’19 in
Delhi NCR Region.
• A rise of 12% in the hiring activity was observed in Bangalore.
• A fall of 5% in the number of Node.JS jobs was observed in
Mumbai.
• There was a decline of 19% in the requirement of Node.JS jobs for
Hyderabad location.
• A drop of 4% was witnessed in the hiring activity in Chennai.
8.) AWS :
• There was a marginal fall of 1% in the requirement for AWS in
Delhi NCR Region.
• An increase of 2% in the number of jobs for AWS was witnessed
for Bangalore location.
• There was a marginal increase of 1% in the hiring activity for AWS
in Mumbai.
• A decline of 5% in the hiring activity was observed for Hyderabad
location.
• There was a drop of 5% in the number of jobs for AWS in Chennai.

• UI jobs went up by 21% in Delhi NCR Region.
• There was an increase of 24% in UI jobs for Bangalore location.
• An increase of 18% was witnessed in the hiring activity for UI
in Mumbai.
• UI jobs went up by 32% in Hyderabad.
• There was an increase of 44% in the number of UI jobs for
Chennai.
10.) REST API :
• REST API jobs went up by 19% in Delhi NCR Region.
• Number of REST API jobs witnessed a rise of 4% for Bangalore
location.
• There was a rise of 2% in the hiring activity for REST API in
Mumbai.
• A drop of 6% in the number of jobs for REST API was
witnessed for Hyderabad location.
• There was a fall of 13% in the number of jobs for Chennai
Location.

The requirement for JavaScript witnessed an increase in regions like Delhi NCR, Bangalore and Chennai, whereas there was an increase in hiring activity for Java in Mumbai and Hyderabad in December’19 with respect to November’19 month. In the experience bracket of 0-1 years, 1-3 years, 4-6 years and 7-10 years, the growth rate of the hiring activity for JavaScript went up from November’19 to December’19. For Java, the growth rate of the hiring activity increased in the experience bracket of 0-1 years, 1-3 years and 4-6 years. JavaScript : • In the experience bracket of 0-1 yrs., 1-3 yrs., 4-6 yrs., 7-10 yrs. and 11-15 yrs., the hiring activity for JavaScript witnessed an increase of 29%, 5%, 3%, 8% and 1% respectively. • There was a decrease of 10% in the number of JavaScript jobs in the experience bracket of 15 yrs.+. 2.) Python : • In the experience bracket of 0-1 yrs., 1-3 yrs., 4-6 yrs., 7-10 yrs. , 11-15 yrs. and 15 yrs.+ , the requirement for python witnessed a rise of 16%, 8%, 8%, 10%, 16% and 14% respectively. 4.)   • 12. 1.) JavaScript : • In Delhi NCR Region, the requirement for JavaScript increased by 13% in December’19 with respect to November’19. • An increase of 4% in the hiring activity for JavaScript was observed in the Bangalore region. • There was a dip of 10% in JavaScript jobs in Mumbai. • In Hyderabad, the hiring activity for JavaScript witnessed a marginal rise of 1%. • An increment of 8% in the number of JavaScript jobs in Chennai was observed. 2.) Java : • Number of Java jobs declined by 2% in the Delhi NCR Region from November’19 to December’19. • A slight increase of 1% was observed in the hiring activity for Java in Bangalore. • In Mumbai, the requirement for Java witnessed an increase of 3%. • An increment of 10% was observed in the number of Java jobs in Hyderabad. • A slight increase of 1% was witnessed in the number of Java jobs in Chennai. Python : • The requirement for Python witnessed a decline of 6% in Delhi NCR Region from November’19 to December’19. • In Bangalore, python jobs went up by 11%. • A 9 % increase in hiring activity was observed in Mumbai. • There was a dip of 20% in number of python jobs in Hyderabad. • The hiring activity for Python grew by 28% in Chennai. 4.) Angular.JS : • Hiring activity went up by 25% for Angular.JS in Delhi NCR Region in December’19. • There was a marginal decline of 1% in the hiring activity in Bangalore. • The recruitment activity witnessed a dip of 13% in Mumbai. • Number of Angular.JS jobs decreased by 5% in Hyderabad in December’19. • The requirement for Angular.JS went up by 13% in Chennai. Node.Js : • The hiring activity witnessed a growth of 18% in December’19 in Delhi NCR Region. • A rise of 12% in the hiring activity was observed in Bangalore. • A fall of 5% in the number of Node.JS jobs was observed in Mumbai. • There was a decline of 19% in the requirement of Node.JS jobs for Hyderabad location. • A drop of 4% was witnessed in the hiring activity in Chennai. 8.) AWS : • There was a marginal fall of 1% in the requirement for AWS in Delhi NCR Region. • An increase of 2% in the number of jobs for AWS was witnessed for Bangalore location. • There was a marginal increase of 1% in the hiring activity for AWS in Mumbai. • A decline of 5% in the hiring activity was observed for Hyderabad location. • There was a drop of 5% in the number of jobs for AWS in Chennai. REST API : • REST API jobs went up by 19% in Delhi NCR Region. • Number of REST API jobs witnessed a rise of 4% for Bangalore location. • There was a rise of 2% in the hiring activity for REST API in Mumbai. • A drop of 6% in the number of jobs for REST API was witnessed for Hyderabad location. • There was a fall of 13% in the number of jobs for Chennai Location.
