1 Introduction

This document describes GSM-R 5.0 of the BTS3012AE.
1.2 Version Difference
BTS3012AE V301R013C00 is the first BTS3012AE version that matches GSM-R 5.0.

2 Application Overview
The BTS3012AE is an outdoor macro BTS of Huawei double-transceiver BTS family. It has
strong coverage capacity and adopts the intelligent low-consumption design, which reduces
the capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operating expense (OPEX) of telecom operators. The
BTS3012AE provides solutions for the GSM-R radio access network.

Ah built-in battery in areas where the
temperature is below 40 °C. The 150 Ah
built-in battery enables S2/2/2 to work four
