• Quetiapine 50mg PO/NGT twice daily vs Placebo
• PRN IV haloperidol protocolized and encouraged in each group
• Primary outcome:  Time to first resolution of delirium  (first 12 hour

period when ICDSC ≤ 3)

 Results: Quetiapine added to as‐needed haloperidol results in faster 
  delirium resolution, less agitation, and a greater rate of transfer to 
                         home or rehabilitation.
