2. 1.Where do I put my supplies?
If you have them, put them in your desk.
If you’re bringing them tomorrow, that’s okay too.
Donated items can go on the back table.
All supplies should be here by Monday, Aug. 23.

Line up outside the classroom door. We are next to
the Kindergarten area. You should wait in line
quietly starting at 8:40 in the morning.
4. 3. Can I bring a snack?
Yes! Keep snacks simple such as cut fruits or veggies,
goldfish, etc. No candy please.
5. 4. Can I bring a water bottle?
Yes, water bottles are a great idea. Water bottles
need to stay on the floor next to your desk to avoid
spills.
6. 5. Where will my backpack go?
It can stay on the back of your chair or you can pick a
spot in the closets on the first day of school.
7. 6. What time does school start?
The first bell rings at 8:50. Second bell is at 8:55.
You need to be here and sitting down with the
second bell. Please try to be on time every day as we
have lots to do in third grade.
8. 7. Will we have homework?
Of course. We have homework binders and get to
choose our homework from a menu. Homework is
due every week. Sometimes we have special
homework.
Our first special homework is to collect stickers and
pictures to decorate our writer’s journals with. This
is due on Friday, August 20th.
9. 8. Will third grade be fun?
You bet. We learn awesome things like cursive
handwriting, writing personal narratives, reading
more challenging fiction and non-fiction stories,
geography, and great science activities.
