The Community Health Innovator Program (CHIP) aims to train community health workers into community health innovators through an online and mobile-based platform providing a planned multidisciplinary curriculum and opportunities to be matched with mentors. The goals of CHIP are to provide an accessible, low-cost training program for community health workers via computer or mobile phone to enable knowledge sharing globally. The existing system allows users to register, complete training and assessments in French or English, and access material uploaded by mentors.

3. What is Chip?
• CHIP is a web- and mobile-based platform that aims to train
Community Health Workers into Community Health Innovators by
providing training with a planned multidisciplinary curriculum.
• CHWs will also have the opportunity to be matched with mentors in
fields that interest them to help guide them through the program and
provide additional knowledge along the way.

4. Goals of CHIP
• CHIP aims to provide a low-cost, high-impact, connected training
program that is accessible for CHWs, whether that is via a computer
or a mobile phone.

across many fields and countries
