In 2020 we enabled LINE, Thailand’s super app, to offer over 10 insurance
products from more than 20 insurance carriers via a single API integration – all
of which took just three months.
Currently used by over 47 million Thais, LINE focuses on bundling multiple B2C
services into the app - including Rabbit LINE Pay, an e-wallet launched in 2018.
In January 2020, we integrated our ecosystem of insurance products into Rabbit
LINE Pay, creating an exclusive, co-branded partnership.

a highly-intuitive customer experience:
 All medical plans have self-declared
underwriting meaning instant, easy
cover
 Our average onboarding is 90 seconds
 Customer cover confirmed in the app
with instant-send e-policy sent straight
to customer
Overcoming the challenges

Logistically, our main challenge was
in integrating a new payment
gateway. Our team of engineers got
to work and enabled this in a matter
of weeks.

Putting the power of technology to work
By bootstrapping our insurtech ecosystem into the ecosystem of one of Thailand’s biggest super apps
with such huge success, we’ve clearly demonstrated that anyone can diversify their business model:
non-insurers can sell insurance, and insurers can integrate products vertically elsewhere and in doing
so, create their own new and alterative distribution channels.

While there are competitors in the
marketplace, what makes us unique is the fact
that we combine products as well as a
software delivery service. Some competitors
have an insurtech-powered platform; some
have a range of insurance products. But none
of them have both.

Good for the industry This is about offering insurance in new and alternative distribution channels, creating new habits and powerful impact for our industry. In 2020 we enabled LINE, Thailand’s super app, to offer over 10 insurance products from more than 20 insurance carriers via a single API integration – all of which took just three months. Currently used by over 47 million Thais, LINE focuses on bundling multiple B2C services into the app - including Rabbit LINE Pay, an e-wallet launched in 2018. In January 2020, we integrated our ecosystem of insurance products into Rabbit LINE Pay, creating an exclusive, co-branded partnership.

The integration 1 The design 2 Highly-intuitive customer experience from onboarding to check-out Working with Rabbit LINE Pay, we created a highly-intuitive customer experience:  All medical plans have self-declared underwriting meaning instant, easy cover  Our average onboarding is 90 seconds  Customer cover confirmed in the app with instant-send e-policy sent straight to customer Overcoming the challenges 3 Logistically, our main challenge was in integrating a new payment gateway. Our team of engineers got to work and enabled this in a matter of weeks.

Some competitors have an insurtech-powered platform; some have a range of insurance products. But none of them have both.
