Community Knowledge Centres (CKCs) are equipped with ICT tools to generate, access, disseminate information and develop skills for local communities. CKCs in Uganda help farmers by providing weather and market information, knowledge sharing, early warning systems and extending production information. This has led to better prices and increased production, less losses from improved timing, and farmers responding better to challenges. However, CKCs face limitations in resources and equipment, and documentation is not always a priority. There is a need to build CKCs' capacity and create more effective linkages to information sources to further support agricultural and community development.
