5. My Analysis
Using the continuum, I feel I accomplished the tasks in a Satisfactory manner
Outstanding Very Satisfactory Satisfactory Fair Needs Improvement
because the students participated actively during the discussion. I was satisfied with my
performance given that I am still a neophyte as a teacher. There a lot more to learn. I
cannot also say that I did it in a fair manner neither in a very satisfactory manner because
I believe I am capable of teaching only I lack experience. With all the theories, methods,
techniques learned, I believe I can be outstanding but not this time.
6. My Reflections
I think I can do better if I’m not tensed, nervous, and stressed.
Next time, I should prepareand master my subjectmatter. I should modulated
my voice so that my students will not be bored during my discussion. I need
to vary my assessment tools to ensure that their level of proficiency be
addressed.
I realized/learned that teaching is enjoyable and meaningful once
your students actively engage themselves on the activities you employ.
Group activities rather than individual activity is better since cooperationand
teamwork at the same time quality learning are evident. I also realized that in
orderto arousestudents’ attention towards your lesson, you need to modulate
your voice to the extent that even the students sitting at the back can still
clearly hear you. There should also be organized groupings so that peaceful
and non-threatening atmosphere will be observed.
