Read the short story “In Exile” by Anton
Chekov, page 223 on you book.
10. My Analysis
After writing my first lesson plan in my cooperating school, these
are the things noted by my cooperating teacher.
BEST FEATURES
According to my resource teacher, my lesson plan is well-prepared for its
objectives are of standards, following the guidelines in formulating objectives which are
specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-bound. The procedure as well follows
the format in the flow of poem as a subject matter. The assessment tools used were of high
appropriateness to their level. The activities were also appropriate and congruent to their
levels.
11. My Reflections
As a teacher, I need to prepare a lesson plan that fully observes the
congruence between the set objectives like cognitive, psychomotor and
affective to the subject matter; objective and teaching procedure/method;
objective and formative test; objective and assignment. With this, I should
have depth knowledge/mastery of the subject matter before I teach my
students for the purpose of acquiring a meaningful learning after the
discussion. I also learned that to ensure learning from our students, they
should by actively engaged at all activities we employ. Indeed, I am fully
convinced that I must fully prepareto ensure that there is learning taking place
all the time.
