5. Andrés Segovia Andrés Segovia. He was born on the 21 st February in Linares (Jaén) in 1893 and he died in Madrid on the 3 rd June 1987. He was a Classic Spanish guitarist and composer. He is considered to be the father of the classic modern movement of the guitar. He started to play the guitar when he was four years old. Thanks to him the guitar was considered an important instrument.
