Islam, being a universal religion, not prescribed a
particular dress style, giving us ample room to
accommodate our needs, circumstances and tastes.
However, it prescribed some principles for everyone
and forever.
7. Characteristics of Islamic dress
while all other animals have a skin that provides them
protection against the elements, human beings don't have it,
telling us that dress must cover body adequately. For men, it is
the middle part of the body from navel to knee. For women, it
is the entire body except hands and eyes.
Dress should not be similar to that of opposite gender. The
blessed Prophet cursed the men who act like women and the
women who act like men” (Al-Bukhari)
Dress should be Differ from appearance of unbelievers.
prophet(s.a.w) said:” who resembles with anyone, will be with
him”(sunane abu-dawood)
Hadith states "Eat what you feel like and wear what you feel
like. But avoid two things: extravagance and arrogance.“
[Bukhari]

am an Arab, the Quran is in Arabic and the language of the
people of paradise is Arabic”.

not talk in non-arabic language, it inherit NIFAQ”( HAKIM)
Arabic literature was spread by the companions of prophet
all over their empires, even non-arab countries become
Arabic spoken, e.g. Egypt, Libya

Prophet MUHAMMAD (s.a.w) stated that "marriage is
half of religion“
Islam support early age marriages and polygamy
The ceremony should be arranged in mosque.
Unlike Christianity, divorce can be initiated when
needed.

only two Muslim festivals set down in Islamic law: Eid-
ul-Fitr (Breaking the Fast)and Eid-ul-Adha( festival of
sacrifice)
Both are act-oriented, not personality-based.
Islam does recognize happy occasions that bring
people closer to one another, and add spice to their
lives. However, Islam goes against blindly imitating the
West regarding a special occasion such as Valentine’s
Day.

architecture are; the Mosque, the Tomb, the Palace
and the Fort.

massive domes, and achieving perfect harmony
between inner and outer spaces, as well as light
