These platforms will serve as an area that will accommodate people during Peñafrancia Fluvial procession. It is bricked-tiled to increase grip and friction to avoid slippage during wet or rainy days. The area will be furnished with aluminum hand rails on the lowest step/elevation to serve as barricades.
Sewerage System and Central Treatment Processing Plant The plan includes the construction of sewerage system which collects water discharges that will be runs off to the river. The collecting system has a main pipe that runs from the entrance of the riverwalk and ends in the Central Treatment Processing Plant located at the downstream of the Naga River. This wastewater will be processed before finally discharging back to the river. The collecting pipes are built under the constructed walk each on both sides of the riverbanks. The construction of the collection system will help maintain and sustain the life of the river since domestic and industrial discharges will be prevented to run off the river.
