WalkwaysDescription: Constructed throughout the river walk and each side, furnished with bricks.Distance and position: Measures 3 meters separated from the biking alley and the line where benches are installed.Purpose: Serves as the main walkways.Trees and landscape.Description: Trees to be planted will be Narra tree. The tree symbolizes where the name of the city was derived. Beneath the trees will be landscapes of plants that not rely mainly on direct sunlight since they will be under the shades. Trees were planted in line and in between with the benches.Distance and position: Spaced 7 meters from each other. Purpose: Adds up in the river walk’s aesthetic value. This will give shade and refreshing ambiance to the river walk. Plant Boxes. Description: This will be built from cement around the trees. Distance and position: 1 meters from the bark of the tree.Purpose: Serve as additional benches or sitting area.

8. Observation Platforms In every 100 meters, a 50 meter observation area (stare-like platforms) is placed. These platforms will serve as an area that will accommodate people during Peñafrancia Fluvial procession. It is bricked-tiled to increase grip and friction to avoid slippage during wet or rainy days. The area will be furnished with aluminum hand rails on the lowest step/elevation to serve as barricades.
9. Sewerage System and Central Treatment Processing Plant The plan includes the construction of sewerage system which collects water discharges that will be runs off to the river. The collecting system has a main pipe that runs from the entrance of the riverwalk and ends in the Central Treatment Processing Plant located at the downstream of the Naga River. This wastewater will be processed before finally discharging back to the river. The collecting pipes are built under the constructed walk each on both sides of the riverbanks. The construction of the collection system will help maintain and sustain the life of the river since domestic and industrial discharges will be prevented to run off the river.
10. Trash Cans . As part of the plan, trash cans will be distributed throughout the river walk. This will help maintain the sustainability and cleanliness of the area. This will also assess the people’s participation on awareness and discipline.
12. The monuments of the 15 martyrs. There will be 15 monuments with description plate each indicating name, birthday and contribution (s). These monuments will enshrine the 15 martyrs or quinsemartyres of Naga. Installed 2 meters from the line of the tree in front, the monuments will be spaced 25 meters from each other located only at the left side of the river starting from the entrance of the walk. One line positioning of the monuments will enable people to stopover to the monuments continuously. Placing them on both sides of the riverbank will not encourage people to continue on walking to the other side of the river. These figures will be made of cement painted with gold and its description plate will be made of brass which text is engraved. The platform also made of cement will be painted white. During evenings, these monuments will be lighted to add attraction and appeal.
13. The Shrine of the 1898 revolt. In between the 5th and 6th monument, there will be a shrine which reenacts the scene of Elias Angeles and Felix Plazo during their siege inside the church where Spanish men were killed. This shrine will be located at the center of the first pedestrian bridge. The figures will be sculpted from cement and painted with gold. Description plate will be made of brass which text is engraved. The platform is also made of cement and tiled with plant pots for landscapes. During evenings, these monuments will be lighted to add attraction and appeal.
14. The History of Peñafrancia Monumental Boards. After the 15th monument for the 15th martyr, with the same distance of 25 meters from each other, monumental boards will be installed 2 meters from the line of the tree in front. These plates will be of miniature billboards which has different scenes of the History of Peñafrancia, from its discovery to its present celebration. These will serve as trivia boards on how the devotion of Bikolanos came to existence. And also, these plates will be flourished with carvings which description of the picture is engraved in a plate. The monumental boards will be made of cement, rectangular in shape with dimensions of 5 feet in height, 1.5 feet in length and 12 inches thick.
