About Senior Lecturer (retired) Rubinovitz was a Senior Systems Analyst at the Israel Ministry of Defense Computer Center (1969--1973), and a Senior Systems Analyst and Product Manager at Control Data Israel (1973--1983). Following the completion of his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, he spent one year as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Department of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering of The Pennsylvania State University (1987--1988). In 1988 he joined the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management at the Technion. He was Head of the Robotics and Computer Integrated Manufacturing Lab at the Faculty. He retired (early) from the Technion in 2005 becouse of an illness.
