7. Technical and Engineering Scheme
e2v is defined by its pioneering science, technology and engineering. We are world
leaders in technology and solutions for some of the world’s most renowned brands
including NASA, Boeing, Siemens and Accuray Tomotherapy systems. Whether it’s
designing and developing thermal imaging cameras, defence systems, marine radar or
space imaging devices this scheme places graduates at the forefront of the creativity
and innovation and provides a real opportunity to develop specialist knowledge.
Being a graduate on our Technical and Engineering scheme will give you the
opportunity to work on live projects with our experienced engineers, interact with our
amazing customers and contribute to the business from day one. Working as part of

8. RF Power Solutions
Primarily based in the UK the RFPS Division focuses on how we
use Radio Frequency technology for a range of applications
including defence electronic countermeasures, radiotherapy
cancer treatment machines, Radar systems, Stellar satellite
communications amplifiers, industrial heating, cargo, screening
bulk materials processing, missile control and safety arming
devices and digital television transmitters.
9. High Performance Imaging solutions
The High Performing Imaging Solutions Division is split across our sites in
Chelmsford, Essex and Grenoble, France. Our innovative technology based on CCD
and CMOS sensors is used by world leaders for space and earth observation
imaging, science and life science imaging, machine vision, ophthalmology and
dental x-ray systems and fire, rescue and security thermal imaging cameras
10. Hi-rel semi conductor Solutions
• We design and manufacture world class high-reliability semi-conductor solutions
in our sites in Milpitas, USA and Grenoble France. We provide solutions for our
customers in aerospace and defence programmes requiring lifecycle management,
hi-rel microprocessors, high speed data converters, high reliability ICs with lifetime
continuity of supply assembly and test services and MRAMs.
• As a Technical and Engineering graduate you will be assigned to one of these
business units before undertaking a range of cross functional placements within
the wider business. The placements are designed specifically to maximise the
benefit to your business unit whilst allowing for your final placement to benefit
your personal development.
• The technical scheme will enable you to apply the knowledge gained at university
to real projects and roles.
